Drizzle

Cool soothing wind with small drops of rain,
Mixed with the aroma of soil and no constrain,
legs pull the body into mud and I cannot abstain,
Hopping and jumping my elder attitude refrained.

Frogs  toads and worms come out to play,
Wet stays the earth and the atmosphere stay,
water bubbles in ditches do invite their way,
Fresh greenery everywhere takes worries away.

The path so slimy water drips from higher to lower branches,
look of a cascade on the stones by the road side over grasses,
Small mushrooms on the sand like snow patches,
Making it so clear when drops of water are like glasses.

Paper boats floating in the newly created brook,
Made to cross the corners and nook,
What fun it is to follow that and have a look,
how it waves, topples and again sails without any hook.

Drops everywhere and it feels like shower,
cold aqua on skin makes me shiver,
Yet It's worth enjoying every wet hour,
Enthusiasm gets filled and so does power.
